Hold music licensing: why ours is royalty-free
Our hold music is coming soon and isn't for sale yet. It's generated for us, not taken from a record label's or music library's catalog, so it's royalty-free: there are no royalties to pay each time it plays. Background music under your greetings is already included free, and it's royalty-free too.

Royalty-free means you don't pay a fee each time the music plays. Our music is generated for us, so it isn't part of a record label's or music library's catalog.
When can I get hold music?
Hold music is coming soon. It isn't for sale yet, and it will appear on the site when it's ready.
What music can I use now?
Every greeting includes free background music: Voice only, Soft piano, Warm acoustic, Light corporate or Upbeat. It's mixed under the voice and exported in the format your phone system needs. Phone tree packs get the same choice, with one track under every prompt.
Can I play other music on hold?
Playing the radio, a streaming service or your own music collection to callers on hold can need a public performance license. Our guide to royalty-free hold music explains what to check.
